Martín Rodríguez , full name Cristian Martín Rodríguez Telis , (born February 10, 1985 in Colonia Palma ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.76 meter tall defensive player Rodríguez was at the beginning of his career from 2003 to the end of 2007 in ranks of the Montevideo- based club River Plate Montevideo . From the 2015 season he has made a total of 77 appearances in the Primera División . In doing so, he scored a hit. In 2008 he was active for the Argentine club CA Banfield , where he was used in at least five first division games (no goal). In the Clausura 2009 he played seven first division matches (no goal) for Nacional Montevideo and won the Uruguayan championship with the team. In early August 2009 he moved within the city and the league to Liverpool Montevideo . Across the seasons, he played there in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons in 26 first division games and scored twice in the opposing goal. He then played for Beijing IT from the beginning of August 2011 to the end of January 2014 and then for Hebei Zhongji in China until mid-August 2014 . For the 2014/15 season he was signed by the Uruguayan first division club Tacuarembó FC , where he was used eight times (no goal) in the league in the Apertura. From mid-July 2015 he was again involved with Liverpool Montevideo, during which he played three more top division games (no goal). In January 2016, the second division Villa Española signed him . There he contributed in the 2015/16 season with 13 appearances in the Segunda División and one goal for promotion to the Primera Division. During the 2016 season he was used nine times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league.

National team

Rodríguez was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-20 selection , which took part in the U-20 South American Championship in Colombia in 2005 .
