Martín Silvera , full name Pablo Martín Silvera Duarte , (born August 26, 1995 in Melo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.87 meter tall offensive player Silvera comes from the youth division of the Uruguayan first division club Danubio FC . At Apertura 2013 he was promoted to the professional squad. As early as August 2013, however, he was initially loaned to league competitor Cerro Largo FC . In the 2013/14 season he was there twice in the Primera División . In early January 2014 he returned to Danubio. In the rest of the season he ran in three more first division games (no goal) for the Montevideans, who were Uruguayan champions at the end of the season. In the 2014/15 season he was used twelve times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league and played two games (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2014 and the Copa Libertadores 2015 . It was not used there in Apertura 2015. In January 2016, he joined the Club Atlético Villa Teresa on loan and played eight league games (no goal) in the Clausura.

National team

Silvera has been a member of the Uruguayan U-20 national team , overseen by coach Fabián Coito , since at least May 2014 . In the 1-1 draw on June 10, 2014 against Paraguay, he came on in the 78th minute for Agustín Barán and scored the only Uruguayan goal. Two days later he was in the starting line-up for the international match against the same opponent. He also played the three international matches against Peru on August 4, 2014, August 6, 2014 and September 24, 2014.
