Agustín Barán , full name Agustín Camilo Barán Flangini , (born January 12, 1995 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The midfielder Agustín Barán comes from the youth department of the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Peñarol . He is the son of the former national player and current coach Adolfo Barán and brother of the soccer players Santiago Barán (Bella Vista) and Nicolás Barán . Already in August 2012 he was part of the extended squad of the professional team under coach Jorge Da Silva . In the 2012/13 season, in which the "Aurinegros" were Uruguayan champions at the end of the season, he ran once (no goal) in the Primera División . In August 2015, he moved to the second division side Boston River . During the second division season 2015/16 he was used in six league games (no goal) and rose with the team at the end of the season. However, he left the club in August 2016 and continued to play in the second division for Central Español . In the 2016 season he played nine league games (no goal). In mid-February 2017, he was signed by Club Atlético Atenas , for whom he has so far (as of July 17, 2017) played in twelve second division games and scored one goal.
National team
Barán is a member of the Uruguayan U-20 national team . At the beginning of July 2012 he was called to a training course for the U-20s by his coach Juan Verzeri . In May 2014 he was also nominated for the U-20 by coach Fabián Coito . In the 1-1 draw on June 10, 2014 against Paraguay, he was in the starting line-up.
