Nicolás Barán , full name Adolfo Nicolás Barán Flangini , (born February 9, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.80 meter tall defensive player Barán, son of Adolfo Barán and older brother of the soccer players Santiago and Agustín Barán , was a member of the Montevideo-based club Miramar Misiones at the beginning of his career from Clausura 2009 to mid-January 2014 . In the 2010/11 season he completed eleven games (no goal) in the Primera División . At Clausura 2014 he moved within the top Uruguayan league to Club Atlético Rentistas , for which his brother Santiago was already active at the time. By the end of the season, he made eight other first division appearances (no goal). At the beginning of October 2014 he joined the second division Canadian Soccer Club after his brother Santiago had also signed there a few weeks earlier. In the 2014/15 season he was used 21 times (one goal) in the Segunda División . In late August 2015, he moved within the league to Boston River . In the 2015/16 season he was used there 15 times and scored one goal. He rose with the club in the Primera División and played 14 first division games (no goal) in the 2016 season.
