The Marta is an Italian river in the northwest of the Lazio region .

description

It drains Lake Bolsena near the town of Marta and flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea after 54 km at Tarquinia . Its tributaries are the Catenaccio and Traponzo streams. It flows through the municipalities of Marta, Tuscania and Tarquinia. In ancient times the river was called Larthe .
