Marten Linßen (born August 30, 1998 ) is a German basketball player.

career

Linßen played in the youth of SFD 75 Düsseldorf before he moved to Bayer Leverkusen and played there for the teams in the youth basketball league and the youth basketball league . In the 2015/16 season he made three appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA for Bayer's men's team . During the 2016/17 season (Leverkusen was now relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga ProB ) Linßen received 22 games of playing time and recorded an average of 4.4 points and 3.5 rebounds.

For the 2017/18 season he decided to move to the United States in order to  advance his basketball career at Valparaiso University in the state of Indiana and at the same time complete a degree. After a playing year there, he moved to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (also first NCAA division), but had to suspend the 2018/19 season due to transfer regulations.

National team

Linßen was used in three games at the U18 European Championship in 2016.
