Martha Eitner
Martha Eitner ( pseudonym : Erich Norden , born February 14, 1851 in Kottwitz , Lower Silesia , † September 8, 1912 in Liegnitz ) was a German writer.
Life
Martha Eitner was the daughter of a superintendent . Her father taught her at home until 1862 ; then she attended a private girls' school . In 1864 she returned to her parents in Winzig / Kreis Wohlau , where she lived until the end of her life. Eitner continued his education through self-study . From 1878 she published literary works, initially in newspapers, from 1883 also in book form.
Maria Eitner's productive literary work consists predominantly of stories - often with Christmas as a background - which can be assigned to Protestant edification literature and which were occasionally reprinted up to the 1930s.
