Martha Komu
Martha Komu (born March 23, 1983 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .
After victories at Marseille - Cassis in 2006 and the Reims Marathon in 2006 and 2007, she achieved an even greater success in 2008 when she won the Paris Marathon in 2:25:29 h, where she improved her personal record by over seven minutes. In the marathon of the Olympic Games in Beijing she was fifth in 2:27:23, just 16 seconds away from the bronze medal.
