Martha Ocffekt

Martha Ocffekt (born Fasching ; * October 21, 1925 ; † September 25, 2006 ) was an Austrian handball player .

Career

Martha Ocffekt played during her active time as a handball player in particular for SK Admira Vienna , with whom she and Danubia Vienna dominated the Austrian handball championship in the 1950s. Her career highlight was the first women's handball world championships in Hungary in 1949 , where she took second place with the Austrian national team and only had to admit defeat to the hosts in the final .

Private

On May 22, 1948, Martha Ocffekt married the Austrian soccer player Ernst Ocffekt , the two-time captain of the world selection.
