Martin "Bolly" Beck (born October 25, 1933 in Füssen ) is a former German ice hockey player who was later also active as a coach .
Athletic career
Martin Beck was in the EV Füssen squad from 1952/53 to 1960/61 and was eight times German champion with the EVF .
Internationally, he played 57 games for the German national team from 1952 to 1958 . With this he took part in the ice hockey world championships in 1953 , where he was runner-up, in 1954 and 1955, as well as in the 1956 Winter Olympics.
Due to his degree as a dentist, he ended his active playing career and first worked as a player- coach at ERC Sonthofen and later at Augsburger EV , before finally moving behind the gang as a coach.
Life
After his active playing career, Martin Beck took over his parents' dental practice.
