Martin Damß

Martin Damß (born June 25, 1910 in Danzig ; † October 29, 1962 in Bonn ) was a German author .

Damß went to school in Danzig, passed his secondary school leaving certificate there and completed a commercial apprenticeship. After working in the port and on construction sites, he became a reporter for various newspapers. He then worked as a speaker for Danziger Rundfunk. During this time a number of poetic stories and poems were written.

After the Second World War , Damß lived first in Schleswig-Holstein , then in North Rhine-Westphalia . He first took up his activity as a broadcaster with the Northwest German Radio , then switched to the South German Radio .

  • Further poems have appeared as individual works in magazines and newspapers
