Martin Dossmann

Martin Dossmann (born June 17, 1954 in Iserlohn ) is a German architect and lawyer specializing in construction.

Life

Martin Dossmann is the son of the Iserlohn architect Ernst Dossmann and grandson of the architect Alwin Dossmann .

After graduating from the Märkisches Gymnasium Iserlohn , he studied architecture. He graduated in 1975 with a degree in engineering. He then studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität , the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg . In 1976 he became active in the Corps Guestphalia Bonn and the Corps Isaria . The Corps Rhenania Freiburg awarded him the ribbon in 1980 and the ribbon in 2015. In 1980 he passed the first state examination. After the Second State Exam in 1985 he was a doctoral thesis at Friedrich Eberhard snap at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster Dr. iur. PhD. After working as a lawyer in Hanover, Dossmann became head of the legal department of the Main Association of the German Construction Industry in Bonn . From 1988 to 1996 he was managing director of the associations of the ceramic tile industry in Frankfurt. From 1996 to 2015 he was General Manager of the State Association of the Construction Industry Rhineland-Palatinate. Since 2004 he has been teaching private construction law at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences . In 2009 he was appointed honorary professor. Dossmann has been Managing Director of the Rhineland-Palatinate construction industry since 2016. He is an honorary assessor of the Rhineland-Palatinate award chamber . He is also a member of the advisory board of the VHV Group and SOKA-BAU .
