Martin Eidt

Martin Eidt (born October 10, 1914 in Königsberg ; † 2005 ) was a German lawyer.

Career

Eidt came as the son of tax officer Arthur Eidt and his wife Martha, b. Schernewski, to the world. He attended high schools in Osterode (East Prussia) and Lauenburg (Pomerania) . After graduating from high school, he studied law and political science at the Universities of Königsberg and Freiburg im Breisgau . He did military service from 1934 and military service during the Second World War. From 1948 he worked as a notary assistant, from 1951 as a district judge in Coburg. 1963 he became a High Court Judge to Bamberg and was there in 1968 as chairman of the 3rd Civil Division and the Senate for land matters and to the Vice President of the Higher Regional Court appointed. Later he was President of the Würzburg Regional Court .
