Martin Gerhard

Martin Gerhard ( 20th century ) is a singer of the pitch Tenor (rarely, as baritone classified), which in the 1960s was active until the 1980s in the German Christian music scene.

He became known through recordings on the evangelical label Happy Message in the Song . Together with the lead music producer Margret Birkenfeld and soloists such as Ria Deppert and Heinz Bösche , Martin Gerhard formed the line-up of the Cantate Quartet , and Birkenfeld won him over as choir and solo singer for her Wetzlar Gospel Choir. Later, his own LP publications followed by the publishing house Hans-Rudolf Hintermann and by Voice of the Truth .

With the successful nostalgic show Unforgotten - songs that stay in the ERF , Martin Gerhard experienced a comeback together with other Christian artists of his time - especially with the concerts of the same name that were repeatedly sold out.
