Martin Goetzeler (born May 11, 1962 in Munich , Germany ) is a German manager .

Goetzeler's professional career began with the broad-based electronics group Siemens AG, based in Munich . After an apprenticeship at the head office in Munich and studying business administration, he worked in the traditionally very influential finance department ( Corporate Finance ) at Siemens from 1989 , before moving to the medical technology division in 1992. In 1995 he switched back to the Corporate Finance division, where he was project manager for the “ business value contribution” (GWB). From 1999, he served as Chief Financial Officer , the Osram SpA in Milan . In October 2001 he took over the position of General Manager & President of Osram Ltd. in London . Half a year later he went to the United States , where he held the post of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Osram Sylvania Inc. Since May 2005 he has been Chairman of the Management Board of Osram GmbH, based in Munich. After Wolfgang Dehen took over the management of the company in March 2011 as part of the planned IPO , Goetzeler was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO). In March 2012 it was announced that Goetzeler had resigned from Osram.

In February 2013, AIXTRON SE announced that Goetzeler will take over as CEO from Paul Hyland. He performed this task from March 1, 2013 to February 28, 2017. Goetzeler has been Managing Director of the dSPACE Group since March 1, 2018 .
