Martin Johann Häsbart

Martin Johann Häsbart , also Martin Johann Häsbärt, (* 1655 in Kleve ; † 1711 in Duisburg ) was a German physician, city doctor in Cleve, professor of medicine in Duisburg and member of the scholars' academy " Leopoldina ".

Martin Johann Häsbart studied medicine at the University of Marburg . There he received his doctorate in medicine in 1679 with a thesis on dropsy "De hydrope". He became a city doctor in Kleve.

On August 17, 1682, Martin Johann Häsbart, nicknamed RHASES, was accepted into the Leopoldina as a member ( registration number 106 ) . From 1704 to 1711 he was a professor of medicine in Duisburg. He died in Duisburg.
