Martin Lacey Jr. (Born June 8, 1977 in England ) is an English trainer .

His father Martin Lacey sr. is the owner of a circus and a zoo in England and breeds lions and tigers . Martin's mother, Susan Lacey, also worked as an animal trainer with big cats and bears for many years . Martin attended a boarding school in England, after which he worked for a time in the circus of his father, before settling in 1997 with its own group of lions with animals bred his father's self- made. His older brother Alexander worked with a mixed group of predators at the Charles Knie Circus before moving to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in the US at the start of the 2012 season.

Martin Lacey Jr. has been involved with Circus Krone since 2001 .

He is currently working with three lions, seven lionesses, two white lionesses and the white lion King Tonga. He has also been performing the rhinoceros Tsavo since 2009 .

At the Monte Carlo Circus Festival he was the only animal trainer in the world to win the Silver Clown (2000) and the Golden Clown (2010, 2018).

Lacey is married to Jana Mandana Lacey-Krone , née Pilz (* 1979). As the adopted daughter of Christel Sembach-Krone , she has been the director of the circus since her death and works with the Krone horses and exotic animals (llamas, camels, zebras) and the house's own elephants. The couple has one son, Alexis Henry Lacey-Krone.
