Martin Lendi

Martin Lendi (born September 23, 1933 ) is a Swiss legal scholar . From 1969 he was professor at the ETH Zurich and from 1976 full professor for law. He retired on October 1, 1998.

Life

Lendi is a citizen of Tamins and Küsnacht .

He studied law in Zurich, received his doctorate in 1958 and was admitted to the bar in 1960 .

1961–1969 he was general secretary for the building department of the canton of St. Gallen , 1969–1987 a. a. Member of the management and head of the ORL Institute (until 1987), head of the department for humanities and social sciences, head of the department for law and economics as well as member of the lecturers and planning commissions. From 1987 he held an independent professorship for law. The research focused on aspects of spatial planning , traffic law and the law of living space. Larger research projects related to collaboration on the state plan guidelines, political planning, parastatal administration, traffic law and the teaching of spatial planning.
