Martin Molz (born December 22, 1971 in Traben-Trarbach ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

After playing at SV Oberkirn, TuS Jahn Argenthal and SC Idar-Oberstein , defensive player Martin Molz moved to 1. FC Nürnberg in 1998 as a contract amateur . On October 24, 1998, he played his first and only Bundesliga game for FCN when he was substituted on in the 70th minute in the game against VfB Stuttgart (2-2). Mainly he played in the Oberliga Bayern for the amateurs of 1. FC Nürnberg (32 games).

For the 1999/2000 season he moved to the regional division 1. FC Saarbrücken . In his first season in Saarland, he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with FCS . Coach Klaus Toppmöller used Molz in 35 games in the promotion season. In the following second division season, which ended with eighth place in the table, he lost his regular place. In 2001 he left Saarbrücken and went to the Regionalliga Süd for SV Elversberg . There he played for six years. For the 2007/08 season he returned to SC Idar-Oberstein in the Oberliga Südwest. After eight games (one goal) for Idar-Oberstein, he ended his career in 2008.
