Martin Mystery is a French-Canadian animated series . Production started in 2003 and ended in 2006. It revolves around the adventures of the main character Martin Mystery , who pursues supernatural events with his half-sister and her girlfriend. The animated series is based on the Italian comic series Martin Mystère .

The 16-year-old Martin Mystery is fascinated by the paranormal and works together with his stepsister Diana Lombard and his friend Java on behalf of the organization The Center . This deals with supernatural phenomena. Their boss, MOM, sends the three young people to different parts of the world to clear up events that the organization learns of. There is also a fight against the creatures that the three encounter, where the diverse technical equipment from The Center is a help. In addition, Martin and his friends also have to go to school and deal with everyday problems there.

Production and publication
The series was produced at Image Entertainment Corporation and Marathon Productions, directed by Stephane Berry and Gregory Panaccione. The music is by Fabrice Aboulker and the artistic direction was with Stephane Berry. Marathon Productions also took over the international distribution of the 66 episode series.
The 23-minute episodes first aired on October 1, 2003 on YTV in Canada. On March 27, 2006, the broadcast ended after three seasons. From Canal J and M6 series in France was shown. The first German broadcast took place from December 6, 2003 to May 22, 2004 on ProSieben . Several repetitions followed on Fox Kids , Kabel 1 , Jetix and in Premiere programs .
