Martin Pewal (born June 25, 1978 in Villach ) is an Austrian ice hockey player .

Career

Pewal made his debut in the 1997/98 season at EC VSV in the Austrian ice hockey league . During this season he also played for the Telekom team in the Austrian National League .

In 2002 he moved to Linz for a year before returning to the VSV in 2003. From 2004 to 2007 he played for EC Red Bull Salzburg , with which he became Austrian champion . From 2007 to 2009 he played for HC Innsbruck . For the 2009/10 season he joined the second division club EC Dornbirn. In summer 2010 he moved to ATSE Graz within the national league . In the 2012/13 season he moved to the East Tyrolean ice hockey club UECR Huben in the CHL (Carinthian Hockey League), with whom he celebrated a championship title there.
