Martin Rühmann

Martin Rühmann (born 1961 in Magdeburg ) is a German songwriter and musician.

Life

Martin Rühmann studied theater education in Cologne and Magdeburg . During the time of the GDR he had been on the road with his band Stadtgeflüster since 1986 , and since 1989 also with joint programs with the poet and theologian Ludwig Schumann . Since 1992 he has performed as the hospital clown Wuschel in Magdeburg hospitals. In 2005 he founded the Martin Rühmann Band. His band's regular concert dates in Magdeburg are the concert Between the Years in the Magdeburg fire station and the harbor concert in the Magdeburg Science Harbor . Martin Rühmann lives in the Buckau district of Magdeburg .

Martin Rühmann is the brother of the actor Thomas Rühmann , who occasionally also plays in concerts by the Martin Rühmann Band.
