Kommau , 1947–1997: Kistenjowka ( Russian Кистенёвка ), is a deserted place in the area of Gurjewsk Rajon in Russia 's Kaliningrad Oblast .
The local office is located between the two places Matrossowo (Uggehnen) and Krasnopolje (Regitten and Sperlings) and can be reached via the municipal road 27K-120.
history
The East Prussian Gut Kommau (also Commau) was founded in 1400. In 1874, the place was incorporated as an estate district in the newly established administrative district Powarben (Russian today Stepnoje) in the district of Königsberg (Prussia) . In 1910 Kommau had 71 inhabitants. In 1928, the Kommau manor district, together with the two manor districts Regitten and Sperlings, was converted into the rural community of Sperlings .
In 1945, Kommau came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place was given the Russian name Kistenjowka and was assigned to the village Soviet Kosmodemjanski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . Later the place came into the Chrabrowski selski Sowet . In 1997 Kistenjowka was deleted from the register of places.
