Kosmodemjanskoje ( Russian Космодемьянское , German  Molsehnen ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It is located in Guryevsk Rajon and belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk district .

Geographical location

Kosmodemjanskoje is located 19 kilometers northeast of the oblast capital Kaliningrad (Königsberg) . From the Russian Highway A 190 (former German National Highway 126 ) leads from Konstantinovka (Konradswalde) from a secondary road in a northerly direction, passing through Kosmodemjanskoje and two kilometers along the road connecting Uslowoje ( (Royal) New Village ) via Sokolovka (Damerau) by Georgijewskoje (Konradshorst) hits.

Until 1945, what was then Molsehnen was a railway station on the Prawten – Schaaksvitte railway line (now in Russian: Lomonossowo– Kaschirskoje ) of the Königsberger Kleinbahn . Today there is a rail connection via the Op (Ostanowotschny point = stop) Bajewka (Kuikeim) ( called Kuggen until 1945 ) on the Kaliningrad – Sovetsk (Königsberg – Tilsit) railway .

history

The Gutsdorf, once known as Molsehnen , looks back on more than 600 years of history when it was founded in 1396. In 1874 the place was incorporated into the newly established district of Kuggen (today Russian: Perwomaiskoje) and belonged to the district of Königsberg (Prussia) - from 1939 to 1945 district of Samland - in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia .

On September 30, 1928, the Molsehnen manor district merged with the rural communities (Royal) Sudau (Russian: Oktjabrskoje, no longer existent today) and Tarpienen (Russian: Lipowka, also no longer existing) as well as the Powarben manor district (Stepnoje) to form the new rural community Molsehnen together. In 1930, the community thus unified was reclassified to the Damerau district - in connection with the dissolution of the Kuggen district.

In 1945 Molsehnen came to the Soviet Union like the other places in northern East Prussia . In 1947 it was renamed Kosmodemjanskoje after the Soviet partisan Soja Kosmodemjanskaja . At the same time the place became the seat of a village soviet, which was moved to Konstantinovka before 1967 . From 2008 to 2013 Kosmodemjanskoje belonged to the rural municipality Dobrinskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

Kosmodemjanski selski Sowet / okrug 1947–2008

The village soviet Kosmodemjanski selski Sowet (ru. Космодемьянский сельский Совет) was established in June 1947. The administrative seat was (presumably) initially the place Kosmodemjanskoje. In 1954, at least part of the Jaroslawski selski Sowet was connected to the Kosmodemjanski selski Sowet. At the same time or a little later, the village soviet gave some places to the Marschalski selski sovet for this purpose . Since before 1968 the administrative seat was in Konstantinowka . After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the administrative unit existed as the village district Kosmodemjanski selski okrug (ru. Космодемьянский сельский округ). In 2008 the remaining places in the village district were incorporated into the newly formed rural community Dobrinskoje selskoje posselenije .
