In 1950 the place received the Russian name Sovkhoznoye and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Kosmodemjanski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . Later the place came into the Dobrinski selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2013 Sovkhoznoye belonged to the rural municipality Dobrinskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

church
