Maloje Lugowoje ( Russian Малое Луговое , German  to Gutenfeld ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .

Geographical location

Maloje Lugowoje is located eight kilometers southeast of the Rajons capital Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in the triangle where the regional road 27A-025 (ex R508 ) joins the regional road 27A-083 (ex A196 ). The nearest train station is Lugowoje Nowoje on the Kaliningrad – Nesterow line , a section of the former Prussian Eastern Railway .

Maloje Lugowoje (literally Klein Lugowoje / Klein Gutenfeld ) is the Russian name of the imperial settlement that belonged to the municipality of Gutenfeld (Lugowoje) before 1945 and was established at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time it was a district of Gutenfeld without its own German place name. Even after 1945 it was initially regarded as part of Lugowoje. By 1975 at the latest, the place became an independent place under the name Maloje Lugowoje in the village of Lugowskoi selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2013 Maloje Lugowoje belonged to the rural municipality Lugovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.
