Pushkinskoje ( Russian Пушкинское , German  for Gallgarben ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .

Geographical location

Pushkinskoye is located in the north of Gurjewsk Rajon , one kilometer north of Marschalskoje (Gallgarben) and east of Roshkowo (Pervissau) . There is a rail link via the Bajewka I (formerly Kuggen , Russian: Perwomaiskoje) station eight kilometers to the south on the Kaliningrad – Sowetsk (Königsberg – Tilsit) railway line .

history

The place was formed in 1950 when a farm that previously belonged to the East Prussian town of Gallgarben was given the Russian place name Pushkinskoye. At the same time the place was assigned to the village soviet Saliwenski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . Pushkinskoye later made it to the Marschalski selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2013 the place belonged to the rural municipality Khrabrowskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district Guryevsk.
