Pridoroschnoje ( Russian Придорожное , German Kirschappen, Koenigsberg / Samland district ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .
Geographical location
Pridoroschnoje is located 22 kilometers northeast of the city of Kaliningrad (Königsberg) on the municipal road 27K-053 from Gurjewsk (Neuhausen) to Kaschirskoje (Schaaksvitte) on the Curonian Lagoon . Until 1945 Sudnicken (Russian: Pirogowo) was the next station on the Prawten – Schaaksvitte (Lomonossowo – Kaschirskoje) railway of the Königsberg small railway , whose operation was not resumed.
history
The former Vorwerk , formerly known as Kirschappen , had an important brick factory before 1945 . In 1874, the then rural community was incorporated into the newly created administrative district Sudnicken (Russian: Pirogowo), which until 1939 belonged to the district of Königsberg (Prussia) , from 1939 to 1945 to the district of Samland in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia .
On April 1, 1895, Kirschappen lost its independence and was incorporated into the Sudnicken (Pirogowo) manor district with the neighboring community of Germehnen (Russian: Naumowka).
In 1945 Kirschappen came to the Soviet Union as a place in northern East Prussia . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name Pridoroschnoje and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Kaschirski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . In 1954 Pridoroschnoje got into the Marschalski selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2013 the place belonged to the rural municipality Khrabrowskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district Guryevsk.

Like almost all East Prussian towns, Kirschappen also had a Protestant population, almost without exception , and the town was a parish of the Schaaken parish with its seat in the Schaaken Church (Russian: Schemtschuschnoje). It belonged to the parish of Königsberg-Land II in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Pirodoschnoje lies in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran parish in Marschalskoje (Gallgarben) , which was newly formed in the 1990s . It is a subsidiary of the Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) , the main church of the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELKER).
