Trubkino ( Russian Трубкино , German  Gehlblum ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .

Geographical location

Trubkino is located 17 kilometers east of Kaliningrad (Königsberg) on the municipal road 27K-031 (old route of the federal road A229 , former German Reichsstrasse 1 ). It is two kilometers to the new A229. Until 1945, what was then Gehlblum was a stop on the railway line from Königsberg (Prussia) (today: Kaliningrad) via Prawten (Lomonossowo) to Possinder (Roschtschino) and Tapiau (Gwardeisk) on the Königsberger Kleinbahn , which is no longer in operation.

history

Gutsdorf, formerly known as Gehlblum , was incorporated into the newly established district of Heiligenwalde (today Russian: Uschakowo) in 1874. He belonged to the district of Königsberg (Prussia) (1939 to 1945 district of Samland ) in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1895, 32 people lived in Gehlblum, which was incorporated into the rural community of Pogauen (today Russian: Vysokoye) at the beginning of the 20th century .

As a result of the Second World War , Gehlblum came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name Trubkino and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Nisowski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . From 2008 to 2013 Trubkino belonged to the rural municipality Nizovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

Before 1945, the population of Gehlblum was almost exclusively of the Protestant denomination. The village was part of the parish of the Heiligenwalde Church (today Russian: Uschakowo). It belonged to the parish of Königsberg-Land II within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergyman was Pastor Paul Kortzitzki .

Today Trubkino is in the catchment area of ​​the Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) . It is the main church of the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELKER).
