history

The Vorwerk and Gutsdorf , once called Seppothenn (before 1785) or Seepothen (until 1946), was built in 1494. In 1874 it was incorporated into the newly established district of Waldburg (Russian: Pribreschny) and belonged to the Königsberg district (Prussia) (1939 until 1945 district of Samland ) in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia .

At the turn of the 20th century, Seepothen was incorporated into Waldburg, then came together with the Vorwerk Catharinlauk (no longer existent) to the community of Jäskeim (also no longer existed) and was connected with it until 1945.

As a result of the Second World War , Seepothen came to the Soviet Union in 1945 with northern East Prussia . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name Golubewo and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Zwetkowski selski Sowet in Kaliningrad Raion . Later the place came to the Novomoskowski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . From 2008 to 2013 Golubewo belonged to the rural municipality Novomoskowskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

church

Due to its predominantly Protestant population, Seepothen was parish into the parish of Lichtenhagen (today in Russian: Jablonewka) until 1945 . It belonged to the parish of Königsberg-Land I in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Golubewo is in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Koenigsberg) within the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELKER).
