Koschewoje ( Russian Кошевое , German Linken ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .
Geographical location
Koeschwoje is located 15 kilometers east of Kaliningrad (Königsberg) on the municipal road 27K-128 from Nisowje (Waldau) on the municipal road 27K-034 (former route of the A229 ) to Konstantinowka (Konradswalde ) on the regional road 27A-024 (ex A190 ). Until 1945 Linken was a railway station on the route from Königsberg (Prussia) via Possinder (Russian: Roschtschino) to Tapiau (Gwardeisk) of the Königsberg small railway .
history
Gutsdorf, which was once called the Left , and its later district Littersdorf came to the newly established district of Waldau (Russian: Nisowje) in the district of Königsberg (Prussia) (1939 to 1945 district of Samland ) in the district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . On December 1, 1910, the place had 98 inhabitants. On September 30, 1928, Linken was incorporated into the district village of Waldau.
As a result of the Second World War , Linken came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place was given the Russian name Koschewoje and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Nisowski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . From 2008 to 2013 Koschewoje belonged to the rural municipality of Nizovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Guryevsk.

Due to its predominantly Protestant population left was until 1945 in the parish of the Church Arnau (Russian: Rodniki) the parish and belonged to the church district Königsberg Country II within the ecclesiastical province of East Prussia the Prussian Union of churches . The last German clergyman was Pastor Arthur Brodowski .
Today Koschewoje is in the catchment area of the newly built Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in the 1990s , the main church of the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELKER).
