Georgijewskoje ( Russian Георгиевское , German  Konradshorst ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the Guryevsk District in Guryevsk Raion .

Geographical location

Georgijewskoje is located 15 kilometers northeast of Kaliningrad (Königsberg) on the municipal road 27K-053 from Gurjewsk to Kashirskoje (Schaaksvitte) on the Curonian Lagoon . Municipal road 27K-080 from Sokolowka (Damerau) ends in the village . Until 1945 Powarben (now Russian: Stepnoje) was the next station on the Prawten – Schaaksvitte (Lomonossowo – Kaschirskoje) railway of the Königsberg small railway , which is no longer in operation.

history

The Gutsdorf, known as Konradshorst before 1946 , initially only existed as a Vorwerk Trömpau . It was not until September 17, 1905, that 2295.1190 hectares were developed from the Trömpau manor district (today in Russian: Lasowskoje) as the Konradshorst manor district and incorporated into the Powarben administrative district (Russian: Stepnoje). This belonged to the district of Königsberg (Prussia) in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia .

On December 1, 1910, 30 residents were registered in Konradshorst. On September 30, 1928, Konradshorst lost its independence again when it merged with Krumteich (Russian: Selenopolje), Sallecken (Lessossekowo) and Trömpau (Lasowskoje) to form the new rural community Trömpau.

As a result of the Second World War , Konradshorst came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place received the Russian name Georgijewskoje and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Kosmodemjanski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . Later the place came into the Marschalski selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2013 Georgievskoye belonged to the rural municipality Khrabrowskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Gurievsk.

church

The almost exclusively Protestant population of Konradshorst was parish up until 1945 in the parish of Schaaken with the parish seat in the church of Schaaken (today in Russian: Schemtschuschnoje). It belonged to the parish of Königsberg-Land II within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Georgijewskoje is today in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Marschalskoje (Gallgarben) , which is a branch congregation of the Resurrection Church in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) and belongs to the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
