Martin Rost (data protection officer)

Martin Rost (* 1962 ) is a German author and employee of the Independent State Center for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).

Rost has authored a number of books and articles on the subject of technical communications, in particular on the consequences of the Internet . a. founded the German mailing list for Luhmann's system theory of sociology and publishes primarily on methodological and theoretical aspects of data protection . Rost has been conducting video interviews with data protectionists, especially the 1st generation, since 2008 (e.g. with Wilhelm Steinmüller , Spiros Simitis , Adalbert Podlech and others). He is also the author of the harmonica textbook Rock Blues Country Harp .
