Martin Schöffel (born April 21, 1977 in Bayreuth ) is a German politician ( CSU ). He has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since 2008 .

Life

From September 1983 to August 1987 Schöffel attended elementary school in Wunsiedel and then the grammar school there until June 1996. Until April 1997 he did his military service and until January 1999 he did an apprenticeship. In October 1997 he began studying at the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences and graduated in June 2001. From July 2001 to July 2004 he worked as sales manager at Hönicka-Bräu in Wunsiedel, before becoming head of the sales and administration department of an international company in the food industry. He stayed that way until he moved into the Bavarian state parliament.

Schöffel is a member of the CSU and was a member of the state board of the Junge Union Bayern from 1999 to 2001 . Since 1999 he has been a member of the CSU district board in Upper Franconia and since 2002 city ​​councilor in Wunsiedel . In the 2004 European elections he was a candidate on the list of the CSU, but was not elected to parliament. From 2005 to 2015 he was deputy district chairman of the CSU Wunsiedel. Since 2015 he has been the district chairman of the CSU Wunsiedel. He has been a member of the Bavarian state parliament since October 20, 2008 . There he is a member of the Committee on Economy, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology and the Petitions Committee . He represents the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtelgebirge ( constituency of Upper Franconia ) in the state parliament. Schöffel is currently Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forestry there.
