Martin T. Bohl

Martin T. Bohl (born September 14, 1962 in Fulda ) is a German economist .

life and work

Bohl studied, did his doctorate and did his habilitation at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen . In addition to his research time in Giessen, he worked as a researcher in Spain, Canada and the USA. In 2000 he accepted an appointment at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) , where he was the spokesman for the DFG graduate program “Capital Markets and Finance in Extended Europe”. In 2006 he followed a call to the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster , where he holds the chair for economics, particularly monetary economics.

He is considered an expert in money and currency , which is evident in numerous third-party funded projects and many publications in national and international refereed journals.
