Martin Volmert

Martin Volmert (born November 23, 1893 in Rinsecke ; † February 15, 1958 in Menden (Sauerland) ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( center and CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, he completed a commercial apprenticeship. He was managing director of a plant in the wood industry and co-owner of a wood u. Fuel wholesale.

Volmert was a member of the district council of what was then the district of Iserlohn from 1946 to 1952. From November 9, 1946 to December 5, 1952, he was district administrator of the district. In 1949 he ran for the German Bundestag in constituency 119 .
