Martina Feldmayer (born December 30, 1964 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German politician at Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen and a member of the Hessian state parliament . She is the deputy leader of the GREEN parliamentary group in the Hessian state parliament. She is also the parliamentary group spokesperson for climate policy and environmental protection.

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1984 at the Bockenheim-Süd secondary school in Frankfurt am Main, Feldmayer studied Slavic studies as well as theater, film and television studies at the JW Goethe University in Frankfurt . She completed her studies with a Magistra Artium . Among other things, she worked as a Russian-German translator, as a consultant for the placement of Russian artists in Germany, and most recently for an airline. Feldmayer is mother of one son.

Political party

In 1998 Martina Feldmayer joined the Greens. From 2006 to 2012 she was a city councilor in Frankfurt am Main in the committees for the environment, sport, law, security, personnel and organization. In addition, from 2001 to 2012 she was a member of local advisory board 6 in Frankfurt am Main . It represented the districts of Goldstein, Griesheim, Höchst, Nied, Schwanheim, Sindlingen, Sossenheim, Unterliederbach and Zeilsheim. From 2009 to 2015 she was the board spokeswoman for the Frankfurt Greens.

MPs

In the state elections in 2003 , 2008 and 2009 , Feldmayer ran as a direct candidate in state electoral district 34 . In 2009 she ran well in the general election as a direct candidate in Frankfurt am Main I . In February 2012, she moved up for Margaretha Hölldobler-Heumüller in the Hessian state parliament. Martina Feldmayer is regionally responsible for Frankfurt am Main, the Odenwaldkreis and the Wetteraukreis.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2013 she appeared in the constituency Frankfurt I to. Here she lost to Uwe Serke . However, she succeeded in re-entering the state parliament via a list position for the party.
