Martina Heinlein
Martina Heinlein (born May 16, 1981 in Starnberg ) is a German hockey player .
Martina Heinlein started at HC Wacker Munich when she was five . She has lived in Hamburg for a number of years and plays at the club on the Alster . In 2006 the defender became German indoor champion with the club, and a year later she won the European indoor championship cup.
In 2004 Martina Heinlein made her debut in the German national hockey team . In 2005 she took second place with the German team at the European Championships. In 2006 the team won the FIH Champions Trophy in Amstelveen , but only finished eighth in the World Cup. At the 2007 World Indoor Championships in Vienna, the team achieved third place.
Martina Heinlein has completed 68 international matches, 7 of them indoors. (As of July 6, 2008)
She is in a relationship with the German field hockey player Sebastian Biederlack .
