Martina Winkelhofer

Martina Winkelhofer-Thyri (* 1972 in Vienna ) is an Austrian historian , art historian and author .

Life

Martina Winkelhofer received her PhD in history and art history from the University of Vienna . She worked as a lecturer at the universities in Vienna, Bonn and Prague and worked on projects for the Commission for the Modern History of Austria. Since 2012 she has been writing a weekly history column for the weekend supplement of the Kronen Zeitung , and since 2015 she has also designed special magazines on historical topics.
