Marty Sampson

Marty Sampson (born May 31, 1979 in Sydney ) is an Australian Christian musician of Hillsong Church .

Life

Marty Sampson plays guitar and piano. Together with Joel Houston , he directed Hillsong United, the youth band of Hillsong, with whom they released numerous CDs, since the late 1990s. In November 2006, he handed over his responsibilities at United to Brooke Fraser . Together with Darlene Zschech and Reuben Morgan he took over the musical direction of the church. In the same year Marty Sampson released his first solo album Let Love Rule .

On August 10, 2019, he announced on Instagram that he had lost his faith.

He has a son with his wife Michelle.
