Marvin Hart (born September 16, 1876 in Fern Creek ( Kentucky ); † September 17, 1931 there ) was an American boxer and world heavyweight champion from 1905/1906.

He played his first professional fight on December 12, 1899 against William Schiller in Louisville. He won by knockout in the 7th round.
On July 3, 1905, he won the vacant World Championship in round 12 by knockout against Jack Root in Reno . The referee in this fight was his retired predecessor Jim Jeffries .
In February of the following year 1906, however, he had to give up his title in the fight against Tommy Burns over 20 rounds in Los Angeles .
His last fight he had on December 20, 1910 against Carl Morris in Sapulpa ( Oklahoma ), which he ended by KO in the 3rd round.
