Mary Moraa (born June 15, 2000 ) is a Kenyan sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Mary Moraa gained her first international experience at the U18 World Championships 2017 in Nairobi , where she won the silver medal behind the Czech Barbora Malíková in 53.31 seconds . In addition, she was eliminated in the first lap of the 200-meter run with 25.48 s and finished fourth in the Kenyan sprint relay (1000 meters) in 3: 24.92 minutes. The following year she finished fifth at the U20 World Championships in Tampere in 52.94 s. In 2019 she won the Junior African Championships in Abidjan in 53.57 seconds. In August she took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time and finished fourth both in the individual in 51.97 s and in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 32.93 min.

In 2019 Moraa became the Kenyan champion in the 400-meter run.
