Maryam Abdulhameed Abdulelah (born April 20, 2000 in Baghdad ) is an Iraqi high jumper .

Athletic career

Maryam Abdulelah gained her first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City in 2016 , where she finished tenth with 1.65 m. 2017 she won the Youth Asian Championships in Bangkok with skipped 1.73 meters gold medal and was at the Youth World Championships in Nairobi with 1.70 m tithe. In the same year she also won the Arab Youth Championships in Radès with 1.59 m. In 2018 she again took part in the Junior Asian Championships in Gifu and won there with 1.80. So she qualified for the U20 World Championships in Tampere , where she was eliminated with 1.77 m in the qualification. At the end of August she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where she finished eleventh with 1.70 m.

From 2017 to 2019, Abdulelah was Iraqi high jump champion.
