Maryan Žurek

Maryan Žurek (born November 24, 1889 in Magdeburg , † January 1944 in Worphausen ) was a German painter and sculptor.

Life

Žurek studied at the Magdeburg School of Applied Arts with Hermann Knackfuß and at the Academy in Kassel with C. Wünnenberg.

His wife Charlotte (* 1910) was a painter in Worpswede .
