Masahiro Koishikawa ( Japanese 小 石川 正弘 , Koishikawa Masahiro ; * 1952 ) is a Japanese astronomer and asteroid explorer .
He has been a member of the Sendai Astronomical Observatory ( IAU code 893) staff since 1972 , where he discovered a total of 19 asteroids at Ayashi Station between 1987 and 1995. He is also interested in observing the planets.
The asteroid (6097) Koishikawa was named after him.
