Masashi Motoyama ( Japanese 本 山 雅 志 , Motoyama Masashi ; born June 20, 1979 in Kitakyūshū ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

society

Masashi Motoyama learned to play soccer on the school team at Higashi Fukuoka High School . In 1998 Motoyama started his sporting career with his first professional club, the Kashima Antlers . With the club he celebrated the Japanese football championship in 2000, 2001, 2007, 2008 and 2009. He won the Kaiser Cup in 2000, 2007 and 2010. In 2000, 2002, 2011, 2012 and 2015 he won the J. League Cup . He was the Japanese Supercup winner in 1999, 2009, 2010. He won the Copa Suruga Bank in 2012 and 2013. After 359 games and 38 goals, he left the club at the end of 2015. In early 2016 he joined Giravanz Kitakyushu . The club from Kitakyushu played in the second division, the J2 League . Here he was under contract until the end of 2019. He has been without a contract or association since the beginning of 2020.

National team

Masashi Motoyama played 28 times for the Japanese national team . Here he was used at the 2004 Asian Football Championship and the 2005 Confederations Cup .
