The Maschio Gaspardo SpA is an Italian manufacturer of agricultural machinery based in Campodarsego ( Padua ).
history
The Maschio company was founded in 1964 in a small workshop in Italy, where the two founders Egidio and Giorgio Maschio built their first milling machine . In 1975 the company exported its products abroad for the first time. In 1979 a new component manufacturing plant was opened in Cadoneghe (Italy). In 1994 Maschio bought the company "Gaspardo Seminatrici". In 2003 and 2004 respectively, Maschio opened production plants in Chișineu-Criș (Romania) and Qingdao (China). In 2011 the foundation stone was laid for a plant in Aundh / Pune (India) and in 2013 a manufacturing plant was opened in Portogruaro(Italy) reopened. In 2014 Maschio took over the historic company Feraboli and entered into a partnership with Visini and Friuli Sprayers. In the same year, production began in a modernized manufacturing plant in Qingdao. In 2017 the production of plows started and the capital share in Moro Pietro Meccanica increased.
Products
Maschio provides power harrows , milling, Shredders , Disc harrows, Chisel plows , sowing technology, Fertilizer spreaders, sprayers , cultivators and cutter bar in small, medium and large working widths ago. The product range also includes the Garden and Country Line; this product line offers equipment for municipalities, landscapers and for smaller agricultural areas.
Production and sales
Maschio has locations in Italy, Germany, Poland, India, France, Romania, Spain, Iran, Russia, China, USA, Turkey and Ukraine. Production takes place in four plants in Italy and one each in Romania, India and China.
