Cadoneghe is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 16,113 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in Veneto . The municipality is located on the Brenta (Eng. Brandau ), about 4 kilometers northeast of Padua .
In 1235 the place is mentioned as Cadonice . The Grosoli SpA company, known as the largest meat producer in Europe, existed there until the 1970s and 1980s. The business collapsed in the early 1990s.
