Agna is a municipality with 3213 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in the Veneto region in Italy. The municipality is 44 km south of the provincial capital Padua and 58 km southwest of Venice .

The neighboring municipalities are Anguillara Veneta , Arre , Bagnoli di Sopra , Candiana , Cavarzere ( VE ), Cona (VE) and Correzzola .

The history of the community goes back to Roman times. The place was mentioned in documents from the year 970. In the Middle Ages, not much happened in the place, it was a transit point for pilgrims.

The town hall dates from the 17th century, inside there are paintings from the same period. In the district of Frapiero is the Villa Pimpin, a former monastery of the Benedictines of S. Giustina.
