Tribano is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4334 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in Veneto . The municipality is located about 22 kilometers south-southwest of Padua .

history

Tribano is first mentioned in a document from the city of Padua in 1281. But even before that the settlement was under the rule of Padua. Until 1797 (from 1406) the municipality was part of the Republic of Venice .
